From Saturday 29 March to Tuesday 1 April, over 50 youths and volunteers dedicated the long holiday-weekend to Dhamma learning and service at the Undergraduates Stay-in Programme in Wisdom Park, organised by Nalanda Youth Centre. The students explored the theme ‘Path of Togetherness’ as they developed stronger bonds of friendship and the beginnings of a peer community.
A host of Dhamma learning sessions by Sis. Sunandā Ong, Bro. Yeo Disheng and Bro. Ajit Lim guided them to better understand how to build and contribute towards a harmonious community, and incorporate Dhamma into everyday life. Outdoor activities such as planting, games and cooking became opportunities to foster reflection, teamwork and unity.
By the end of the four days, participants were full of gratitude and appreciation for this opportunity to learn ways to overcome challenges in school and in life, as well as build connections and trust with good spiritual friends. Our appreciation goes out to the Organising Committee, volunteers and participants for this fulfilling and joyful camp!
We welcome students to join the upcoming programme “ Undergraduates’ Stress Management Workshop” on Sunday 13 April. Look out for the registration form which will be published tomorrow!
