Last Saturday on 21 October, the ‘Green Warriors’ of Wisdom Park skilled up by learning how to ‘marcott’ – a way of propagating plants that are difficult to root from cuttings. Let us together contribute our efforts towards enhancing this educational campus, and maintaining a conducive environment for Dhamma learners.

Participants of the Dhamma-Living Camp for Young Adults had the opportunity to connect with nature by joining the ‘Green Warriors’ to enhance Wisdom Park’s landscaping on Saturday 30 September. ver four days of the recently concluded Dhamma-Living Camp for Young Adults, strong bonds of fellowship developed as the campers supported each other in their gradual Dhamma learning on making wise choices in life. We rejoice in their camaraderie and share these group photos of the ‘Dhamma families’ which flourished on the foundations of mutual trust, care and spiritual friendship.

From 28 September to 1 October, over 100 participants and volunteers of the Dhamma-Living Camp for Young Adults congregated at Wisdom Park for four days of wholesome learning and service. Carrying the theme ‘Make Wise Choices in Life’, the campers gradually learned principles taught by the Buddha to help shape their mental attitudes throughout life’s journey. The Dhamma-living Camp for Young Adults (DLCY) concluded on a high note just this afternoon with 90 participants making aspirations to live life more meaningfully having been immersed in Dhamma learning over the past four days. This Thursday 28 September, Nalanda Youth Centre will be welcoming over 90 participants for the 6th Dhamma-Living Camp for Young Adults at Wisdom Park. This camp, themed ‘Making Wise Choices in Life’, is an excellent opportunity for youths to deepen one’s own understanding of the Buddha-Dhamma and to incorporate the practice at this impressionable stage of life. We wish you a safe journey to Kuala Kubu Bahru and look forward to hosting all participants for 4 days of joyful Dhamma learning and communal living.

Just two days ago, on Saturday 23 September, Nalanda Family Dhamma School went for an excursion to Wisdom Park. On this ‘Day of Learning’, the families spent quality time together strengthening the values of care and respect for each other. We rejoice in the wonderful sportsmanship and learning spirit of all our students in the Family Dhamma School. Our thanks also extend to all Dhamma School facilitators and teenagers from Serdang who were on hand to assist in making this outing an enjoyable and fruitful session. Sadhu anumodana.

For the past several weeks, Nalanda Youth Centre leaders and volunteers have been working hard together in preparations for the Dhamma-Living Camp for Young Adults. Bringing together 100 young adults between ages 18 to 30, this year’s camp will be held from 28 September to 1 October at Wisdom Park and will explore the theme ‘Make Wise Choices in Life’.
