Youths work hard to prepare for Dhamma-Living Camp

For the past several weeks, Nalanda Youth Centre leaders and volunteers have been working hard together in preparations for the Dhamma-Living Camp for Young Adults. Bringing together 100 young adults between ages 18 to 30, this year’s camp will be held from 28 September to 1 October at Wisdom Park and will explore the theme ‘Make Wise Choices in Life’. We wish our participants a safe journey to Wisdom Park and look forward to receiving you. May you have a joyful and fruitful Camp!

Ajahn Jayasaro visits Wisdom Park

Hosting Venerable Sukhito

Nalandians spent this public holiday meaningfully hosting Venerable Ven. Lim Sukhito at Wisdom Park on 19 July. Venerable is the Abbot of Dhammavana Meditation Centre Bukit Mertajam.  He was delighted by the simple and functional facility built that draws parallels to the forest monastery he has set up in north Malaysia. Spirited learning at ‘Entering the Stream’ workshop

From 8 – 10 July, over 80 participants, facilitators and volunteers gathered for the ‘Entering the Stream and Beyond’ Sutta Study with Meditation Workshop led by Āyasmā Aggacitta at Wisdom Park. We extend our appreciation to Āyasmā Aggacitta for his compassion in reaching out to so many in the Buddhist community with the very words of the Buddha on the factors leading up and attributed to a Stream-enterer.
