On Saturday 15 October, 72 Nalanda Dhamma School facilitators, parents and students had a joyful Family Day at Wisdom Park. Families had the opportunity to render their services to greening Wisdom Park, have fun in family-bonding activities, and learn together.

On 1 to 2 October, 60 participants and volunteers of the recently completed courses – BPS 104 Buddhist Studies in Mandarin and Svagatam Inspiring Programme joined a two-day retreat at Wisdom Park to deepen their Dhamma learning and experience aspects of the Buddhist way of life.

Since 16 July, 22 participants of the first Horticulture and Landscape course (HCL 001) have joyfully gathered every Saturday at Wisdom Park to learn basic horticulture skills. The classes are conducted by Dr. Chen Xing Wei Ph.D. (Horticulture). The 8-week course includes lectures and field practice to learn how to maintain the lush landscape of Wisdom Park.

From 9 – 11 July, 40 Nalanda leaders from Serdang and branches gathered at Wisdom Park for a 3-day Leaders’ Retreat to discuss pertinent issues & challenges in carrying out the Society’s mission. Leaders also explored ways to enhance leadership skills such as resolving conflict in interactive workshops.
